50 years in textiles
Long-standing experience assessing, buying and finding new outlets for yarn, fabric and other textile stocks.
For 50 years, A J Hayhurst Ltd has bought and redistributed surplus, redundant and excess textile stock. We work across the UK, Europe and worldwide to keep usable yarn and fabric moving — not going to waste.

A circular approach
Not every surplus yarn or fabric needs to become waste. Stock left over from production, specification changes, discontinued ranges or business closures can often still have commercial value.
A J Hayhurst Ltd helps manufacturers, mills, spinners, knitters, weavers and industrial textile users find a route for usable surplus material. By purchasing and redistributing stock into new markets and applications, we help extend the useful life of textile materials, reduce unnecessary disposal and support a more circular textile economy.
Long-standing experience assessing, buying and finding new outlets for yarn, fabric and other textile stocks.
Established trading relationships and the flexibility to move stock across the UK, throughout Europe and internationally.
Our model is simple: keep useful textile materials in commercial circulation for as long as possible.
Finding a new use for surplus stock can help prevent serviceable yarn and fabric from entering general waste or landfill streams.
From individual surplus lines to substantial mixed holdings, we can consider yarn and fabric in a wide range of quantities and specifications.
A straightforward commercial route for businesses needing to clear redundant, slow-moving, excess or distressed textile inventory.
Giving usable textile materials a second commercial life.
